Before you readers start commenting, hear me out. Wii U is literally the best home console to date. Many people think it can't handle 1080p with 60 fps, even though it can and has been done in many Wii U games. If you start talking about exclusives, don't even bother. Wii U probably has more exclusive games than PS4 and Xbox One combined. Mario games, Zelda games, party games, Mario Kart 8, SSB4, Zombie U, Splatoon, and other greats. We're getting a Star Fox game soon too! Servers are better than both Xbox One and PlayStation 4, because Wii U servers never go down, and nobody complains about them going down, because they don't. Community? Nintendo wins again. The Nintendo community has to be the best community out there. Just look at the posts in Miiverse! You never see any profanity or any inappropriate objects anywhere there!
Moving on to hardware, the Wii U has better hardware than any other console. It is conveniently smaller than all the others, taking up only a small space wherever it is placed. The Wii U game pad is super ergonomic, and it's pretty light.
The Wii U game pad is astounding, as it allows for playing without turning on the TV, as well as many other cool gaming opportunities and gaming aspects. Since the screen is also a touch screen, it gives a much more creative aspect to game development, allowing for more opportunities than the PS4 or the Xbox One.
Some might argue that without third party games, the console is nothing. However, the Wii U does have 3rd party games, and who wants more CoDs on the Wii U anyways?
So as you can see, the Wii U is easily just as good and even better than the Xbox One and the PS4 in almost all aspects.
If you have any more suggestions on why the Wii U is better than the PS4 or Xbox One, tell me in the comments!

1 ReplyIf the games that were on the wii u were on Xbox we could run them at 4k 30fps.

14 RepliesHere's why I personally think Nintendo sucks: they have NOTHING but watered down franchises. You talk about exclusives, but Christ almighty, how many goddamn games does someone need with Mario? Nintendo is nothing but Mario, Donkey Kong, Pokemon & Zelda. Nintendo personifies watered down spam and I honestly don't see how anyone older than 12 still plays their games. I mean, whatever floats people's boats, but Nintendo, to me, is a joke.

1 ReplyEdited by Demiurgic Dogma: 7/8/2015 7:44:22 PMYou're right about the community as whole(though they also have their bad apples) and the first party exclusives, but you won't see as many third party games on there when compared to the other two consoles. I mean if I wanted to play ESO or Destiny, for example, I'm SOL if all I had was a Wii U. They have good games, don't get me wrong but they fail to attract big name third party companies and instead use third party niche games, like the JRPG's for example and visual graphic novel games. Their handhelds are by far the best thing about Nintendo, and it will be more of a priority as Nintendo shifts toward mobile gaming. Which is HUGE in Japan. I also disagree about the hardware, they really haven't been the most powerful system since Nintendo 64, not sure what the specs were on the Game Cube though, but sure aesthetically speaking, the Wii U looks great.

1 ReplyThe exclusives aren't really my cup of tea. I only played Zelda when I was a teen cause I thought link was hot, other than that I grew up with a sega and by the time I could afford to buy my own console all the Nintendo games seemed like childish party games that you'd only play for nostalgia that I never experienced. I like the ps4 more for its exclusive experiences.

1 ReplyMuted.... stop trying to "recruit" for your system.... just play it

1 ReplyI believe that the Wii U is less powerful than the Xbox One and PS4, and that's your reason for not getting it, okay. However, I hate it when people say "It's for kids." So what? A game can be child friendly, but still be fun. Plenty of E rated games are fun.

11 RepliesEdited by Guardian9176: 7/8/2015 7:24:12 PMA) the WiiU can't handle the games that the Xbox one and ps4 can (you'd have to play them in 480p no doubt) B) it's not hard to make a cartoon run at 1080p/60fps C) it's a console for children /thread Also, you must not have heard of the ps vita which serves pretty much the same purpose as the pad for the WiiU with the additional ability to play games without the ps4/3.

6 RepliesI like the wiiu but sorry it is a sub par system. It has a lot of trouble hitting 1080p and 60 frames while having large in depth games. Smash brothers is the only game so far that is reliably high quality. The gamepad is a fairly terrible controller, playing with that thing for two hours easily makes my hand cramp and hurt, and not all games can be played with alternative controllers (unfortunately). But the main problem with the wiiu is actually the fact that it is a nintendo system, it is consistently behind in almost every aspect, it still lacks a proper form of communication system for friends, its e shop is terrible. Not to mention that they are already dropping the system, they made an announcement that they would be showing a new system next E3.

6 RepliesI have a Wii U but their are three things about it that make me value my xbone more, 1. 32 gig hard drive 2. little 3rd party support 3. no proper online gaming network/voice chat system like xbox or playstation

1 ReplyWii U what do you have to say about-oh your battery died

Because I don't want to spend money on an upgrade. Xbox one was enough but another Wii system just isn't possible. I would if I was rich however. Love Zelda and Metroid...

1 ReplyBecause it has about 4 third party games

3 RepliesI automatically assumed this was satire before I started reading it. You are the first person on the internet that I have encountered who has seriously advocated the Wii U. Everyone else has been sarcastic.

1 ReplyThe WiiU isn't the best home console. The Wii, on the other hand, is. It took a few years but eventually almost everyone had one. It was the best console for a casual gamer. The WiiU was a failure.
