Congrats, I feel like if you can't see or feel something, it isn't real.

So, radio waves are a lie?
-
No, they are. They've been proven, and measured. Same with the light spectrum, what I meant was, if it hasn't been proven to exist. Sound waves too. I'm just saying that if there is a God that he's never materialized to be proven and so does not exist.
-
I know what you meant, I was just messin' around. That being said, one could argue that while "God" cannot be measured or quantified, its influence cannot be denied. For something that possibly doesn't exist, it's certainly had a measurable impact on the world. Food for thought.

All I'm saying is, there's not a man/woman/thousand armed being in our orbit or the space immediately around our planet. I feel like God was a man made concept, but some people take comfort in that idea. I think it's fine, really. But let me ask you something: if I respect their right to believe, wouldn't it be common courtesy for them to accept that I do not? Or is that against their religion?
-
I believe that one can (and indeed should) show respect for a belief without believing it themselves. This equally applies to those whose hold the belief there is no higher power. Just because you disagree doesn't mean you should be a douche.

Yeah. I don't have a problem with religious people until they try and convert me. And then I tell them no thank you.
