Such a great video. All the people trying to defend bungie and activision need to watch this. I have a feeling though that the concepts will go right over their heads and they will still blindly keep feeding their addiction oblivious that they are doing so. The thing is the level of profit they are trying to achieve imo is beyond greed. It seems like an experiment to see how much profit is attainable and it is really not neccessary. This game was never going to fail. It would have always made a profit just from selling everything dlc included in the base game. They may however be pushing the limits too far and ttk sales may suffer as people wise up. At this point though it probably makes little difference. The thing is deep down we know the things we are frustrated with are their by design. The low vault space, the bugs the lag the lack of content. We know we are being manipulated and milked for more money than the game deserves. The challenge for them has always been how little content we can give them but still maximise play time. This is why bugs have taken so long to be addressed as they cause wipes thus extending our play time. Think about the difference in response time for a bug actually in our favour and one not. It has been far quicker for those in our favour. They have been trying to slow our progress from day one and if we think about it its really obvious. Its not an accident or incompetence, its like that cause its supposed to be. Lag is there for a reason too. Its to introduce a random element into the game that benefits the less skilled player. Think about it if a player is constantly getting destroyed they are going to give up and stop playing. Lag helps close this gap to try and keep more players playing. Others have explained this concept better. Check out bdobbinsftw, he has a great video on lag in cod. Im sure the same applies to destiny. Imo dedicated servers should be standard for next gen game now and lag should be a thing of the past. I mean if, rocket league, a ps+ free game can do dedicated servers why cant destiny or cod? Seriously rocket league is a far more enjoyable competitive experience than crucible in destiny and lag is a non issue from what ive seen. The vault im not so sure on the reason but i bet there is one. Anyone like to speculate...?

Yeah, that's a great video. Shows how they went for upgrade addiction rather than making us want to play because the actual worlds were you know, fun.

btw, I discovered the content of that video for myself, but seeing how these birds and humans are purposefully are made addicted makes those practices in video-game development all the more perverted. It's disgusting, Bungie.
