Even though bungie said to "steady expectations", the bungie day included nothing but lackluster requirements for a lackluster reward, they raised hype over nothing. DeeJ basically lost all credibility stating with the little "something better for veterans" comment, and now its like lame requirements for a reward that we can't even collect for two months that doesn't do anything at all apart from display on your profile. It would have been satisfying with some new TTK information, but even that was just tossed around like a conspiracy which causes speculation and nothing more. Bungie is coming off as more and more incapable of managing its own community properly. Your game is great, but honestly... it needs a lot more work on it and while im at it, the legendary edition for destiny ( which includes destiny, expansion 1 and 2 and the taken king) is £46 on amazon, whilst the taken king dlc alone is £40... are you seriously telling me that destiny and expansion 1 and 2 is worth £6 all together...
EDIT 1: so people want to talk about being ungrateful when destiny originally had content which was supposed to be in the game and is now locked away... and saying that its being "ungrateful" can be applied to any situation, for example, this game could have 1 planet and some people would be content whilst others would want more and the people who are content with it would say "your being ungrateful", therefore completely nullifying this argument as it is open to subjective opinion, so who's really the ungrateful one? I mean... afterall.... "its about the player"

Tldr; only the top 1% deserve rewards

2 RepliesSo ungrateful. Unreal, you know, they didn't really have to do anything right? It's not like you would have known if they hadn't said anything yeah? Yet another reason for someone to hate and bash simply for the sake of hating and bashing. You DON'T HAVE TO PLAY THE DAMN GAME, YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH IT AT ALL IF YOU HATE IT SO MUCH. Good Lord.

13 RepliesSo, you have a problem with 20 less for something larger than any game? And only 20 extra for Collector's when it normally is 30 to 40? Let's compare to a AAA title costing 60 a year with 20 per DLC: it doesn't give even half the content Destiny does. Compare to the current MMO pricing: base is 40, add the latest expansion for 60, add 60 for Collector's, add 15 a month. Those with the old still pay 60 and 15 a month, no rewards for staying with. Now, Destiny: New is 60 for base, both DLC and expansion, and 20 for the Collector's. Those that have these last three pay only 40 for expansion with special bonuses and 20 for the Collector's. Jump to the full pricing of MMO throughout, no special deals: 60. 60. 60. 60. 60. Nothing for having bought each one earlier than anyone else besides access before anyone else. Destiny: 60. Bonus for buying and playing at launch. 20. With bonus at launch. 20. With bonus at launch. And now 40. With bonuses at launch free AND for buying it and being around for the first year AND bonuses at launch. Be realistic, people, and look at the deal in full, especially compared to others.

Agreed, complete disappointment. At least Halo: Reach players got something to display on their Spartan!
