So why go through the trouble of getting it (I have two Thorns) just to bitch about it?

I have 3 Thorns. Used to love it. Now I'm sick of seeing it and sick of using it. But I'm forced to use it because everyone and their mother uses it.

Why? I see Thorn users at the middle or bottom of the list in Crucible all the time. It's definitely not an "I Win" button.

You're not forced. No one is holding a gun to your head at home to use a Thorn.

No shit?! Nobody is holding a fu##ing gun to my head forcing me to use Thorn? Brilliant comment. You're a fu##ing genius. I will get out gunned by a Thorn 9 times out of 10 if I'm not using it. When I do use it. I win gun the fight more often than I lose them. I can out gun most people not using a Thorn when I'm using it. Only guns that I see compete with the Thorn are TLW, Red Death and Vex. Those are the guns I get killed by the most. Just like everyone else.

The trouble? That's a pretty simple bounty tho lol do a strike, go positive in crucible and kill a wizard are the main things, which are all fairly easy.

Just because you did it easily, doesn't mean that there aren't people out there that struggle with it.

Read my latest comment. If not, ill repeat it. People do the PvP aspect wrong. I assume that's what people struggle with is the void kills. Everyone wants to use Atheons epilogue or Word of Crota, in hopes of consistently beating the thorn, last word, vex, etc. Wrong way. People should use a primary that will keep them alive. Like red death or last word. Only use those when you feel you won't get a kill with your void damage. Other than that, use a void special, void heavy, and abilities if you can. The current void weapons, apart from if you get a void messenger or something, suck for PvP. They'll hurt you more than they'll help you in PvP.

If you read the forums you will see a large amount of people having trouble with it. So don't act like it isn't true.

People do the bounty incorrectly. They want to use epilogue and word of Crota, expecting to consistently beat thorns, last words, vexes and such. That's such a bad way to do it. Just use a primary that will keep you alive, like red death, and focus on using your heavy, special and abilities if your defender or voidwalker. It seriously is nowhere near as hard as people make it out to be. I will debate that against anyone, anytime no matter what.

not to mention the people who comment on the forums asking for help on the crucible part, as well as the amount of people that say they just delete the bounty everytime they get it because its too hard for them. its the only gun that is actually earned

I delete this bounty every time if I don't get it with my warlock. My warlock is a thorn-getting specialist :)
