My advice, stick with it (quitting is worse than loosing). I play solo as the people on my friends list/clan hate PVP. Yes, you will join matches mid game (when it's 10-5 against), yes you will join teams which are useless (and will have people quitting early), but you'll also join other teams which are good and it'll be you on the dominating team. Remember you get the iron medallion for losses so when you eventually win you will get a bit extra rep (and treat those uphill matches as training). Remember to pick up your IB bounties as most of them don't require wins and remember to grab the IB buff 'thing'. By the end of the week that buff starts to really help your rep go up quickly.
