I have a hunter and a warlock and I actually prefer my warlocks radiance. People just don't no how to use it properly. If you no the map layout and how to get into an objective fast, you can really hurt the enemy team with radiance. Just make sure that you can get a melee on someone first before charging in, this gives you an over shield, plus extra armour, a shit ton of fire bolt grenades and you can get over 4 or 5 kills. Even if you can't get in close, just use cover and come out of cover to spam grenades at the enemy. If one comes close, melee and charge

Well all the supers are technically balanced. The warlocks can self revive and most of them panic the nova bomb, rare for me to kill them when they're doing it also. The titans panic the FOH but it really is good, we dont talk about the WOD lol, more of a pve thing, although its helped sometimes. The hunters bladedancer and golden gun can still be killed and you have to atleast be facing the person to kill them.
-
I disagree with everything you just said. It's different for everyone. I religiously play a defender Titan because it's basically pvp hard mode and its suuuuuuuucks. However, I hop on a warlock for the first time in a month with HoPF and burning firebolt nades and get like 10 kills a super no joke.
-
I disagree every characters has plus and minus. What's one person's nightmare is someone's dream super. I was a Warlock for a long time and loved it, now I am a hunter, next I will do the titan class.
-
Supers are balanced as much as I hate to admit it they are... I hated FOH with a passion (still kinda do) lol but after making a Titan I understand the frustration at times now.. It's the same with any super... Hunters get bashed the most because guess what most people main hunters in PVP the balance with them is the animation... Waiting for an animation to finish before use requires timing which leaves you 100% vulnerable.. Also I have to strongly disagree with you when you say radiance is the worse super in PVP.. If you think that you're doing it wrong.. Radiant Skin is one of the best there is I think.. Next time you use it watch a guy unload half a machine gun mag in your face and watch him burn to death from your grenades or melee.. Then smile as your health bar is still white...
-
If you're only managing to get one or two kills with a Fist of Havoc, or Nova Bomb, you're doing it wrong. Hunters aren't OP in crucible.
-
Used to be a huge arc blade hater but I've realized if the lag is minimal, they really aren't op.

Edited by Dyognes: 7/7/2015 8:00:25 AMAll supers need good timing to get multiple kills. Golden gun and arc blade are certainly not guaranteed multiple kills.

6 RepliesGolden gun is the most skilled super
-
Having played all classes, and with discussions like this popping up all too often, the supers are balanced very nicely. Bladedancer, my Felwinter's has said many a hello to them. Gunslinger? Oh my Benevolence.
-
7 RepliesTitans will have their turn when our super is the combination of a blade dancer that can throw the hammer like a gunslinger; it even has a perk that tracks enemies. I can't wait to laugh at Hunters tears for the pain I've felt from their supers that can cover so much ground.
-
Golden Gun doesn't provide extra armour and Bladedancer requires the player to be up close to kill(along side low orb generation). These are clear weaknesses that any good player can take advantage of.
-
Edited by Gauzl1: 7/7/2015 7:50:14 AMThey are high risk high reward, in no way OP as they are easy to stop, nova bomb and fist of havoc however are low risk yet high reward because not even a shot from gold gun will stop them and they have a large area of effect.
-
Don't have any problem with hunter supers. They are potent, but they are also the easiest to shut down imo. Nothing wrong with them.
-
They wouldn't be as bad if this game didn't lag so hard.
-
Yes, atleast if you compare it with a titan.
-
Yes but titan and warlock offensive supers are a guaranteed death, but hunters you can escape BOTH supers but don't always 1 shot.
-
Golden Gun doesn't increase damage resistance. Too often I've seen gg users get taken out almost instantly after activating their ability. With everyone using matador/party crasher/felwinter w/ shot package, arc blade is pretty much one of the worst abilities to use. Good players often just run and hide the moment they hear GG or AB activate too. At least with nova bomb and FOH you're guaranteed a kill.

7 RepliesThe issue with this is that there is only one and a half supers that I am afraid of. Fist of Havoc - equals death, I can't do anything about it 99% of the time. Nova Bomb - practically unkillable before they actually throw the thing and huge blast radius. But just due to distance I can survive it more. Everything else I am happy to face without a super. Golden Gun - get a corner or pillar and kill it with whatever tools you have at your disposal or run away. Blade Dance - shoot it if I'm near team mates or run away if I'm solo remembering to run towards to the blade dance if it gets too close and is using blink. Radiance - I'd put as the easiest to kill just before Golden Gun, just shoot them and dodge grenades, corners and pillars help. Even easier if you use a shotgun. Ward of Dawn - avoid 9/10 or if my team are engaging or if i have a shotgun and they aren't expecting it and don't have armour of light then maybe engage. This is why I get annoyed at Fist of Havoc because sure it doesn't kill a lot of people most of the time (discounting objectives and rockets) but it is incredibly easy to use and there is nothing you can do about it unless you assume every player in the game is about to and stay well clear of everyone, that does not work for my play-style whatsoever.
-
Completely disagree I can barely get a kill on either hunter super everyone runs from it or one shots me gg doesn't give any extra health every other classes super does
-
Edited by Niight: 7/7/2015 7:16:45 AMA SUPER IS NOT OP!!!!!! ITS SUPOSE TO -blam!- PEOPLE UP!!! THAT IS WHY IT IS A SUPER! YOU DAMN CRY BABIES IN THE FORUMS IS WHY THIS GAME HAS GONE TO SHIT! CRYING ABOUT GUNS BEING TO OP WHEN HALF THE TIME ITS JUST BECAUSE THEY OUT PLAYED YOU. JUST PLAY THE GAME!!!! AND PLEASE STOP WHINING
-
4 RepliesHunters do not have OP abilities in crucible compared to the Titan or the warlock. Fist of havoc is more OP due to the fact that it can literally not be avoided. For example when you jump and reach maximum height , the fist of havoc can still get you . The warlock nova bomb can at least he avoided. The hunter specials you have to thing about using them before hand and not panic like the fist of havoc and nova bombs too. Yeah you can get multiple kills it's their pvp abilities but it really does depend on the situation and player
