It doesnt make you a tank. Its not much of a change for armor and the healing takes 3 seconds to recharge. Its not OP at all and its easy to get. [spoiler]go on a warlock and buy a couple exotic helmet engrams like xur sold the last 2 weeks. Turn them in and enjoy you regular old awesome helmet[/spoiler]

I think I had about 400 total and converted a lot of shards to motes.

Of course it can. It's by no means the 'perfect exotic.' I don't think the exotic itself is OP. It just seems odd that mages (usually seen as highly damaging glass cannons) can now out-tank the tank class.

If you max armour on a warlock and put on the ram you can survive two head shots from a thorn and shoulder charge which makes it my personal favourite... Maybe that why titans got peregrine greaves though...

I tried for the ram from xur, ended up buying 18 engrams and not one of them turned into it; I now have every exotic helmet but the ram

It really does make a difference. I've shoulder rushed a warlock with that helmet and not killed them. It occasionally takes 3 melees to kill them. Regardless of the class, the helmet takes OP to an incredible level

Easy to get? Not for me, bought 20+ engrams and I couldn't get it. Then two of my friends bought two and they both got it.

its not the biggest concern as far as balancing goes, but it just sort of seems.... misplaced?
