How bungie should make up for the Taken King Cost
Just a thought and people can talk about it i dont really care what gets said, but everyone says that taken king is to much or not worth it, and bungie really isnt making things easier to get the extra emotes and everything else that comes with legendary edition. I think that the first weekend of the taken king bungie should make xur sell either of the following weapons. Gjallarhorn, Hawkmoon, Monte Carlo, or the 4th horseman. There are those players on both consoles that have put in the time and have not gotton a single one of these weapons for xbox people unless they got it in the nightfall or some other exotic drop the week TTK comes out it will be a score. But just an idea and i know bungie will never do this

15 RepliesHow about everyone, BEFORE they complain about the cost, figure out how much money they have spent per hour playing Destiny. Me? I've gotten something around 1000 hours played. I've spent around $100 on the game. That equates to $0.10 per hour. Yes, that's 10 cents per hour. Now, name any other non-free activity that you could do that is cheaper on a per-hour basis. First off, we don't even know everything that we're paying for in TTK. Second, that's a terribly childish way to "make up for the cost." You're not suggesting more content, but feeding into the gambling addiction of the game. The game should be fun and engaging, not a pure kind for a shiny weapon. Basically, you're playing Destiny wrong.

Look guys lets be real. Its not the taken king thats overpriced that is making everbody upset its broken promises. Bungie lied about the game we were supposed to be getting and with all these other minor issues stacking up it has just become a death by a thousand paper cuts. In a vacuum I have no problems with TTK it looks good and sounds worth $40. However the dark below and HoW should have either been on the disk at launch or have been free updates. That is the size of a game bungie promised was on the disk but did not deliver. Many games do free content updates alongside bigger payed expansions. That is not a strange or crazy thing. It balances player happiness as well as monetary gains very well. Bungievision has only been able to do one of those.

I don't think they should make him sell anything, but they should put it on his loot table. I have all of them but the Gally. I'm fine without (Want it yes) and am perfectly fine with RNG being the reason I don't have one. Just sucks that Xur doesn't sell it anymore because Bungie thinks it will break the game if everyone has it (there game, they can do as they wish). Sell it for 100 strange coins for all I care. Just means I'll buy 500 less Heavy Synths that week. I understand coins are common and Gally is worth more than 17 of them.

They're never going to "make up" for the cost that Activision placed on it. I mean we paid $20 a piece for unlock packs (not expansion packs).... so being their first actual expansion means a shitload of money. Only way to make up the cost is filesharing.
