Btw I work full time, started playing this game on my own and one day got a random invite while I was in the tower. I accepted and now have a roster full of great players, most of whom I would now consider friends.

Lol I sent an invite to a guy while patrolling prob a month after release, now we have a clan and he's my left hand man in game also got a right hand man to lol

Eh it happens, to much stress around here, I basically play to hang out with these guys now. I suggest people keep their friend thing open so people can join you while you start a mission or go patrolling its simple really in my opinion.

I think all the people whining about the matchmaking are the kind of people that block those sending them invites or just don't accept, or maybe they just want to be antisocial on a social game. The raids are there for teams of people to enjoy, and play together not for singles. If anything the raids have made the game more of a social experience than any other game I've played, it has opened the door for console mmos and even better mmofps games. If you guys can't make friends or can't be bothered to find players then you deserve to never complete a raid.

social game...as in no proximity chat, fire team voice chat automatically turned off by default. I just received an invite but for what? I have no idea. This game was a mess from the start. You are right about one thing, it has opened the door for mmofps games and all everyone needs is a company to do it right because Bungie sure didn't.

You can't make everyone one happy someone's always going to be upset with a decision, and I've had good raid groups and bad raid groups, now the plus side to this is I add who I like and dismiss those who I don't not just based on play style of course but also the personality they carry with them. People don't have patience for people what are we to do. Lol until then it'll always be this way. I still enjoy the game for what is even if I'm not always satisfied. It's kinda how I also live life :P

It's good to know there are kindred spirits about, the OP and his mate giving me shit over hating their idea, are never going to enjoy the raids if they get what they want, nearly 1600 hours of game play has shown me that. The one thing stopping me from buying the next dlc is the cost versus what we have received in content so far, I.e. disappointment.

Oh and yea same here the dlc has me on edge I'm excited but worried also, I might wait till official release to determine my final judgement.

Lol thank you, I think this is one thing they won't give into (bungie) and I'm perfectly fine with that. it's fine the way it is. Also if you think about it the game itself is a match making system lol plus sometimes me and another guardian just go in the raid to fool around if matchmaking was enabled it would put a damper on thing's of that sort.
