If you have a medal score under 400K
You're doing it right. PvP is nothing but a thorn in my side. Literally. I can't enjoy Crucible anymore because of the cheap tactics. If you have a KD higher than 1.5 without using Thorn or blink/shotgun, you are truly a good PvPer. (I am not claiming to be good. My KD is just over 1.0 I'm sure. I don't use Thorn but I shotgun/blink just so I can counter them.)

Back in the old days, when Suros was "op" in Crucible, id still have good k/d while hardly using Suros itself.

I blink and shotgun but I don't blink shotgun people. I use blink to escape supers and other blink shotguns. I do use the thorn mixed in with the red hand and messenger and a little last word

I agree Thorn needs a nerf but every great player is likely doing something people find cheesy or OP.

8 RepliesBlink shotgun takes more skill then standing there shooting. The people complaining about it just out right suck. Sorry, it's been here since day 1, it's only cheap for players who can't react to it, and if you can't react to it you shouldn't be playing the crucible anyway. It's a futuristic warfare, not -blam!-ing CoD Mw3, so et over it and get used to it.

My medal scores 1.7m and my Kd's over 1.5. I've never used a shotgun in the crucible.

i've never played crucible, my nephew wanted to try destiny, he went straight to crucible :D[spoiler]i tried to steer him to pve, but... kids, eh[/spoiler] this was way before the dorkness of the nerfs.

My medal score sucks balls and I've been playing since the first week. I just don't really like PvP and I'm not going to play it just to raise a score.
