I just got booted because of my grimoire score...
I got invited from the tower by a bunch of randoms...all was 34 with a grimoire of under 2500 (that's fine I could care less) but why kick me???
I was the highest one in the fireteam..
They started yelling like omnigul
Why is this community so argumentative? Just relax and get laid or something? I've been asked why I game because I live in florida to " I suck at the crucible"

5 RepliesThe reason is because with light level 34 so easy to achieve now (as compared to lvl 30 in vanilla Destiny, shout out to the forever 29's) grimoire score is one of the few methods still available to see how experienced a player is in general. Not saying it's right, but there's the reason.

I Just started playing destiny in the ps4 and my grimoire score sucks im barely hitting 576 lol but i have played over 3 or 4 matches in the crucible and end up on top with 18 to 25 kills shame on them getting rekt by a level 10.

Yeah i played with a guy in trials that had low 2k grimoire while my friend is upper 2k. The guy was way better than my friend.

Look guys/gals; I've never really understood why you would boot somebody for a variety of reasons. Now some good reasons to kick are: Light level is too Low, No decent (emphasis on decent) weapons at all, You are annoying, you are unwilling to play as a team, or you are afk. I'm sure there others, but I think we can all agree that these are legitimate reasons for people to get kicked. If you have good enough gear, you are the appropriate light level, and you contribute then you have every right to be in that fireteam. Having to solely depend on gjallerhorn is ridiculous. Maybe give them a shot before you kick them, it's more about how people play. I'm usually willing to give folks a couple of shots in raids, trials, or POE before I encourage them to leave. I typically don't like kicking people: I'll usually tell them it's not working out and ask them politely to find another game.

I will never understand why people boot people without seeing that player play and talk with him. Booting for grimoire points, Ghorn or things like that is really stupid.

I've been there until I found a nice crew. Little by litttle a nice folk brings another in and you'll find yourself with an excellent team. Suggestion: Start a Clan and get the nice folks you find to join in. I see posts where people state they were kicked out because they did not have a certain weapon. The way I see it, if this happens you are better off without these folks. Some time ago I was doing the Weekly Strike for Strange Coins. One of the players invited me to the fireteam when we were on the last phase (Archon Priest). I accepted thinking the person wanted to be able to use audio. As soon as I joined, he dropped me and put his buddy (who was waiting) in my place. I had to start all over. Really lame but I take this as a lesson. I was too naive to accept the silly invite. I know better now. Good luck. Help other players whenever you can. This makes the community better. Good brings good. Cheers.
