If You think Thorn Is Annoying and Auto Rifles Are Weak
I seriously suggest you try out suros regime. I was playing iron banner today and got curious about my old regime remembering and seeing nobody uses auto rifles in any crucible game mode and I was absolutely dominating just as much as any other player. I was beating 90% of thorns just with good headshots alone. I typically aim for headshots or nothing with any gun and with regime it really does shine.
now if you don't want to use up an exotic slot, I found the legendary AR silimar's wrath (HoW Version) to be a very good option as well. now granted it does not have as much range as suros but if you nail most headshots it does drop people pretty fast close to mid range. I found people didn't expect to die to a fast ar either. it's only draw back I would say is it's range and it might be harder than most guns to kill multi people together like a regime can.
don't be afraid to try either one of them out. it might surprise you, cause it sure did surprise me how good regime still is, or even the other ar was.

Agreed I put up 30 kills with suros in control. Just takes skill, I personally hate using the thorn.

When an archetype gets nerfed it requires more skill to use them. People flock to scrub guns like the last word and high impact/range shotpackages so they can compensate.

Suros was always a waste of an exotic even before the nerf in my opinion. Never had any problems outgunning it with the original vanquisher.

Dont get me wrong, I'm glad you like it, but the TTK is total šhït compared to just about every other gun out there since Bungie "adjusted" auto rifles last year. It's even useless in PVE compared to the raid guns.

The thorns you were facing have bad aim then. Because suros will never outgun thorn with the same accuracy. Yea in pubs, suros is good because most players aim is piss poor. You start playing challenging guys though and its no fun.

Omg that guy brought me down to 1 health point in 1vs1 situations before I killed him with thorn. And that happened 5-6 times. He was consistently good with that rifle. And I have more than descent stats... However; I really thought yesterday that they buffed ARs back to original stats... Lol.

The Suros Regime was my first exotic weapon. I took that thing everywhere like it was My Buddy. I dismantled, cleaned, and oiled it every night in my dreams. It sat at the dinner table with me. We welcomed it into my family. And even I have to say that it's garbage now, as much as that breaks my heart.

I started using it this past iron banner and could not put it down. It certainly fit my play style better.

2 RepliesSorry buddy but the SUROS now has one of the worst TTK's in the entire game now. Your argument is invalid. TLW can kill you about 4 times before SUROS can get a kill.
