How are the loot systems so broken ?!?!?
So how does this work I did vog 3 weeks ago helping a friend he got gala. I helped another friend the next week, he also got gala, then finally I helped another friend through all of the queens bounties to do prison after I did them we did prison and to my surprise he went and got gala so if you would be so kind to tell me how this is fair please go ahead

Lol no one ever said it was fair. It is random, which makes it balanced since it doesn't lean any way. Balanced, but by no means fair.

I gave up on wanting a gally. Someday it will just magically drop and I will be surprised. If only I could reforge my 14 NLBs into something else lol

7 RepliesYou know whats really unfair, the poor bungie folks who have to read through the forum post and see this same post every page. Random loot is fair, you cant argue against that and anyone stupid enough to think there a special little snowflake that gets treated unfair by bungie cos they dont have gala need to get a grip. You realise of course that destinys 10 year plan is based off this loot system, its the only reason its been able to keep the majority of people playing. Also I really want to know what people think is a better system, cos loot to the guy who complains the most isnt a loot system. Maybe farming endless amounts of resource A to make your gala, that will take 3000 hours or buy for $15, then we can have some "pay to win" rages instead. If you dont like it dont play anymore

I was awarded my first gally today from the nightfall, and I have seen two of them drop in the crucible recently.

It's all random, like life. You try to sting together events as if they were meant to happen but in reality it is a highly overrated phenomena.

And I was with a group of friends carrying a level 27 through VoG starting at oracles and the level 27(this being his highest level character) got Fatebringer, Praeydeths Revenge, and vex. Those are three weapons I want.

1 ReplyI have 3 level 34 characters, 1500 hours of play time and no Gally or Hawkmoon. It sucks but I play because it is fun and addictive. I have a vault full of weapons I rarely use, a lot of which are exotics so I guess not having the two great ones is no real loss. I don't like to waste the exotic slot on a heavy anyway.

1 ReplyIt is the most simplistic rng system that i have ever seen. The loot tables are too large, and thats the problem. If they made certain exotics drop from certain bosses/events then it wouldnt be so bad.

People like you who help the Destiny Community and several others, don't get anything. A streamer i watch finally got hers after 1000 hours. Meanwhile my own personal example is that i go into a crucible match get top leading score, doing objectives etc, and a new player joins gets 2 kills 7 deaths, meanwhile im at 30+ kills with less than 10 deaths, game ends, he gets a Gjallarhorn cause logic. The system is broken and there is a post from a fellow player about implementing a trade system, if you stumble upon it read it, its literally perfect, and unexploitable and works flawlessly imo. All and all, RnG and the loot system is broken to all hell like Thorn or Shotguns are in PVP (Example).
