It lets you survive certain nade sticks with max armor and it lets you take 2 thorn head shots and all the DoT with out dying. You also can take a normal shoulder charge and not die. That is just on it's own. If you also have flame shield on and radiant skin on you have an effective health of 750. which lets you even take a peregrine greave shoulder charge.

Well yeah. It's not as amazing on the void walker. I mean I use it for my void walker. But it's also good for the sun singer.
