This is not to say that fusion, flux, magnetic, etc. should not stick to opponents or that they should not be a one hit kill, this is merely suggesting that in PvP, sticky grenades lose their ability to veer toward an opponent and will instead require actual aim in order to make it stick.

48 RepliesPeople actually voted no, are you serious? just goes to show how much "skill" some of these players have relying on crutches lol
-
My biggest problem is that there are usually 2-3 times that I'll nail a hunter or a Titan directly with my fusion, just to watch it bounce off them and careen off to the side. I know I hit them, because the grenade changed direction from hitting their body, but it doesn't stick. I get upset every time that happens.

2 RepliesMy axion bolts will literally follow people around walls across 1/3 of a map and you're mad about stick grenades?
-
If warlocks are running anything but firebolts they're doing it wrong.
-
2 RepliesThe magnetic effect on the nades aren't that good unless you've already thrown it pretty close if not basically on them.
-
4 RepliesNope, only nades that may need re balancing is arcbolts and firebolts. Nades that can tag you while you are no where near the grenade is a bull shit nade.

-
I voted no because the tracking is not such that no skill is required. It's still a difficult grenade to use and if you miss completely it does no damage, so it is balanced fair in my OPinion
-
How does the sticky grenade in halo work? Bungie should just work off of that
-
15 RepliesWhy do people vote no? Just curious.
-
3 RepliesYes. The most retarded thing in the game currently
-
4 RepliesPersonal opinion: Magnetic grenades should track but shouldn't be one hit kills. Fusion grenades should stick but not track. Also, you should move this into Feedback. I can for you if you'd like.

It's only annoying when someone throws a sticky when ur going to kill them I normally tea bag if it falls off after I kill u

8 RepliesEdited by MrPoPo33: 7/5/2015 11:59:06 PMLook at all the bolt users saying "it's so easy! And takes no accuracy" really? Then why don't you try using it as opposed to something you only have to land within 20 feet of your target to get the max damage out of it.. yeah stfu, at least your nade always works the way it's supposed to, use a sticky nade and see how often you NAIL somebody with it and it straight up bounces off like you're throwing a rock at a brick wall, how many times you'll stick a hunter or warlock (he'll be running around with it CLEARLY stuck on his face) he blinks and it magically falls off even though its not supposed to OR the dreaded hula hoop and slingshot (only sticky users will know what I'm talking about) There's a reason stickies have the highest pay off of any nade in game, they take the most accuracy, even if it doesn't take as much as you want it to it still takes 10x more accuracy than any -blam!-ing bolt grenade

2 RepliesWhen did the grenade repelling armour Come out? Playing IB today and I had two opponents where the grenade BOUNCED off.....I run Worlock These were the "Tracking Fusion grenades", they shouldn't bounce!
-
1 ReplyFirebolt is the way to go anyway
-
1 ReplyNo, they already are inferior to the other grenades in PvP. I used to always run 2 fusions plus voidfang vestments in casual PvP and it worked great, but in something competitive like trials or against smaller teams, the chaining grenades work so much better. If you're going in a 1v1, face-to-face, and you stick the other guy, unless they suck, they'll probably kill you by the time the grenade explodes. Especially with the fast killing guns like Thorn/TLW, I've even seen people stick an enemy but finish off the enemy with their gun first. If they're fully aware of where you are, you're probably better off with something you can throw around the corner or with a big blast radius. At least in trials and skirmish, maybe 1 out of every 10 or 20 grenades that kill me are stickies.
-
There is so much lag mine usually bounce off opponents or drop at there feet.
-
3 RepliesI wish they would get rid of damn fusion and axion grenades cuz they do the work for u. Literally no skill just press a button and it takes down ur shields for them to finish u off, or flat out kills u.
-
Yes. Id like to be able to stick them like tripmines. The auto aim often -blam!-s up what I actually wanted to do with the grenade. Its why I dont use them
-
10 RepliesThey'd be pretty useless if they didn't track.
-
Actually it would be nice to turn it off sometimes it auto targets to a different enemy close by minimally damaging both.
-
1 ReplyIt's actually really easy to stop. If you blink quickly they don't follow and it doesn't kill you. Most of the time you can also spec your person out with armor so it's not one shot.
