Stop bitching about thorn and the last word
That why they are called hand cannons. You've already had plenty of chances to get the last word from xur. Thorn is supposed to be strong because of how hard the bounty is. People earned it.

I understand both side of the bitching. I agree with you but (as an avid Thorn user) there is no place for other non exotic weapons in vruicible anymore. That kind of takes the fun away from it.

Not sure that's the problem. Don't get mad because your fav guns are going to be nerfed. It needs to happen or they buff all other guns. Your choice but don't complain when there is a problem with them

Thorn isn't meant to be overpowered in pvp though, any gun isn't meant to be overpowered.

Thorns not really a problem, last word is fine too but damn does it kill you fast. I've been killed so many times before I can even ready my weapon to aim. Definitely one of the best weapons in the game in the right hands. Leave everything as it currently is and just get better with different play styles that don't compliment the enemy. Ghaleons demise with crowd control and low recoil will stop both of these guns at a distance.

3 RepliesI don't want them nerfed because I wreck with them. I think other guns should just be brought up a little bit. I've killed people sniping using thorn, and I've turned on people with LMGs an killed then with TLW. Red Death and other weapons come close-ish, but nothing trucks as hard as TLW and Thorn.

Thorn is one of the eaaiest bounties to get done, go even every game with void weapons and you are done within 10 games. TLW is glitched and needs to be fixed. They either need to toned down a bit or buff autos and fusion rifles back to normal state. You shouldn't be 2 shotting people and walking away and letting DOT kill people. Both have a ttk more than half of any other weapon in the game. I believe it was .37 secs next closest was like .80 secs. Hand cannons shouldn't be able to kill faster than heavy machine guns (especially high impact ones).

Ive played this game so much i have every single gun except preydinths timepiece, so i guess they should make that totally overpowered too? Nerf the -blam!-ing cancer bungi, like now. Thanks.

1 ReplyThe thorn and last word both have a kill time of .30-.47 seconds. Lower than any other gun in the game, other than headshot snipers. They are extremely unbalanced if most other guns, including exotics, have an average of .86-1.31 second kill time. Whether you like it or not these guns are for those who can't play crucible with true skill. And it will stay this way untill bungie realizes how op they made them. Also the thorn in no way is hard to get, i'm sorry if you thought the cake walk of a bounty everyone can get was hard, maybe that's why people use something that literally takes no skill to use. The last word on the other hand is harder to get, or so you would think, if xur didn't sell it as much as he did.
