You're not missing anything really
Jewel of Osiris sucks.
The Scholar is way too slow for my liking.
The Messenger.. Overrated as [b]Hopscotch Pilgrim or Spare Change.25 is slightly better[/b]
In my opinion the only thing worth much is:
Silver Package (Chance at an Exotic)
Gold Package (Chance for an armor piece or weapon)
[u]The Rocket Launcher[/u] is probably the best weapon from all of them lol..
