Lag and Cheaters in Trials
I have been playing trials every week except for the first week, and every single time there is an unbelievable amount of lagging and cheating going on. Some examples are shooting players multiple times and seeing them recoil from getting hit and no damage being done, shooting through walls with hand cannons and shotguns, knives through the wall, seeing a knife go past you and then dying from said knife, titans being in front of you and then dissapearing and then shooting you from behind. The list goes on. The lagging and cheating is unplayable as well as extremely frustrating when it is the main reason for losses. Dedicated servers are needed for this game to become an enjoyable experience and cheaters need to be punished. If this kind of gameplay continues I will not be buying any more of the games and dlcs and I know that many of my friends and clan members will be doing the same thing.

Edited by GIRZIMDIB: 7/5/2015 3:54:00 AMbungie isn't going to help you, nor do they care, there are countless posts just like this on the forum that have gone unresolved. reporting does nothing, and they get mad at YOU for calling out specific cheaters in the forums, that is all the proof you need right there to see how little of a frack bungie gives about people cheating. They ban a couple people and claim that it's enough, but you can just go buy a new console on craigslist for like $40 and get right back to hacking and cheating your way to victory. Pointing out the fact that there are cheaters in ToO or the iron banana is useless, cause they already know. the better thing to do is to ask WHY they don't care, i'll tell you why, they already have your money, so why SHOULD they care?

Ran into 2 cheaters for sure earlier today. The guy survive 2 of our supers. On my screen he was in a corner appear to be lag switching. Because he look like he was skipping back and forth. Pop my FOH and he teleported outside to revive teammates. He did this several times when they were losing.

This - again! Last night on IB it reached preposterous levels over many rounds, that even going to orbit once a super lagfest had ended, our 3-man team got even into an even worse lagfest! [i]Merde![/i] We left one lagfest at game's end to try avoid meeting the same team of 'Invincibles'...out of the frying pan... Bungle / Innactvision can't be unaware of these constant feedback threads highlighting this - again! The big question is, though: how long before fair players (purchasers) reach the tipping point - and just say no(thing, and quietly depart!)...it can't be too far, methinks!?! This game ain't fun anymore!

I'm sure some, actually most of it is cheating. I truly believe that people out there have there Internet connection rigged (so to speak) to the point that they are always host in there match and have that slight advantage in lagg. Independent servers would fix this problem. Right now pvp is setup as peer to peer so one player is always hosting the match. I am an above average player in pvp some matches I shoot and players die other matches they basically just ignore my bullets hitting them, and for the streamers taking randoms through trials for a flawless over and over never running into a cheating team or 3 good players (remember they are playing with random who probably suck) is hard for me to believe unless they have something always going there way the lagg difference.
