Everyone attacking you on your k/d and not understanding the point of your post.
I have a 1.4 overall and it's raising quickly. Check my last couple of matches since you guys love to do that apparently.
That being said, I can COMPLETELY vouch for a more skill based MM system. Sometimes I feel bad for the people I completely shit on because:
A) They're using god awful weapons because they might not have a wide variety
B) I don't mind having a challenge as long as I have competent players on my side as well.
I appreciate the fact that we atleast have MM in the first place, but there atleast needs to be something like a ranked playlist MM system.

I've been saying this all day, my Kd is crushed because my friends come over and play on my account. (I don't care that they do, a lot of them don't have the ability to play the game.) But my highest kd was 23.0, my normal is in between 1.4 and 2.8. However, it makes it very difficult to find a team when your kd is .9. (I'm lucky to keep it that high, being that my friends often go .1-.4) I don't care about kd, but a ranked system would at least give my team a chance being that I am nearly forced to run solo.

I think there is a ranking system but it's not used the way it should be. Combat rating. Nobody knows how it works but they could take a fire team average in matchmaking and make better matches. But they don't!!!!!
