Kinda seems like you don't understand exchange rates either. Australian dollars are worth less than the pound and American dollars. Basically they've gone $40 USD, and £40 GBP, due to the exchange rates that means we're paying well over the odds because our money is worth more. At $90 AUD yes you are still getting ripped off, but not really any worse than us, because your currency is worth less. £40 GBP works out to about $83 AUD, so $7 more, which again works out to just over £3 GBP, not a massive difference. Just because you're being charged a higher number doesn't mean you're getting ripped off more.

Technically not in the same sentence, but the point was you're not getting ripped off THAT much more, about £3 GBP. For easy comparison the U.S. are paying £23, UK is paying £40 and Australia is paying £43. We're all still getting ripped off.
