@Bungie: My DVD disc is scratched
Hi,
My disc is scrathed (children) and is starting to fail.
I can't return it to the store.
Would it be possible to convert it to a downloadable version?
It is sooooo frustrating to get kicked out of raids :(

Unfortunately you'll have to buy another copy.

hit your children and then get a new game. if they are irrisponsible enough to damage your games you should put the games were they cant get them

The best thing you can do is get a second hand copy as they are cheaper or buy or a TTK set with the full game included. I also recommend teaching your kids how to look after disks.

You can of course purchase a digital edition. Just be sure to uninstall all destiny files on your console, before downloading the digital copy. This will not affect your characters. You may have to restore licenses after you download the base game, to obtain add Ons: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181

3 Repliessimilar question which I would LOVE clarified: so I have the disc version installed, I also now have a digital version that I wish to use instead (less disc swapping), if I delete the disc version off and download the digital, all of my stuff will still be there right?! I don't want to lose all I've collected so far! haha is it just saved on the Bungie servers? thanks! #help

2 RepliesThere is no way to convert a physical copy to a virtual copy without just re-purchasing the virtual copy. If there was, people would simply take the disc, install it, swap it to digital format, and then sell the disc to someone else. Then no one would be buying new copies. So in essence, the only way you are going to get a different copy is by purchasing a different copy in some way, shape or form
