I should explain what I mean. Everything up to Omnigul is fine, except the actual boss encounter. It feels like it's just standing around waiting for a chance to get some damage off at the boss.

If you actual try to play the strike and go uni the room and not use a cheese. It's quite fun, run in melee, run to cover, get stressed die. Rinse and repeat. The problem Is that people are looking for the fastest way to do these strike. Just play the game the way it was intended. Equip under levels under used gear. Change it up guys

I think it's the worst due to only having to survive 2 waves of enemies, kill an important target, cut your way up to the boss area and kill her with mobs spawning at health intervals. Omnigul can be killed pretty quickly, and if you have a defender Titan than its even easier when they can suppress wizards and Omnigul while also being able to blind Omnigul herself by placing a bubble on here leaving her ridiculously open to attack. Valus Tu'arc though has you run through a pointless mob, kill three important targets, kill a tank (which someone always dies at), travel, cut through into the tank, kill filler enemies, get to the boss area, and kill him with a timed mob spawner which I think is more annoying. Granted that he is easier now due to the health nerf, but it's still tedious.

2 RepliesI just hate that we've never gone 2 weeks without seeing Omnigul as a weekly heroic or nightfall boss. I wish omnigul was PS exclusive and undying mind was for all, that'd be such a hard and fun nightfall
-
I like this strike for glimmer farming, crap ton of enemies and obsidian mind helps too
-
1 ReplyKill the mobs then damage her till she screams. Then repeat till she is dead. Not a hard fight at all. Just don't be in a hurry like most people.
-
1 ReplyDid you ever do the undying mind
-
Shes amaziinggg shes fun..shes a great challenge. My fave strike the screams make me laugh now...* remebers 1st time back in dec*

6 RepliesValus Tu'arc...nightfall...with solar burn. It isn't insane difficulty, but it's a major pain. Or the Psion Flayers strike on Mars. Really, anything with the Cabal.

Every boss in this garbage game is a bullet sponge because bungie has the creative mindset of a toddler, the greediness of activision and the work ethic of a homeless alcoholic
-
the worst one is Phogoth with arc burn. but they're all pretty easy.

"The Nexus. It's opening."

5 RepliesPhogoth is the worst

I'd rather play omnigul then that stupid black garden strike.

Having come from playing Destiny on a PS4 (and before TDB was released) - my vote has to go to The Dust Palace. Three Psion Flayers - each with a different elemental damage.. is not pretty.
-
Doesn't suck (none really do) but it's still the worst
-
Dust palace cause -blam!- the amount of doors you have to open like god damn
-
Omni and Archon ftw

8 RepliesEveryone with a playstation knows the undying mind is the worst

I agree, the boss encounter is really poorly made but everything other part of the strike is actually fun.

I think the Omnigul strike should be tweaked to be similar to the HoW strike. Namely that damage, up to a point, stays on the boss.
-
I wish the boss battle was set up better.
-
I love the first part. With obsidian mind I can throw 4 back to back nova bombs when the thralls come.

I disagree because it is the only strike that you have to worry about the enemies in the area. On nightfalls, then you have to worry about enemies more in other strikes, but in the Omnigul strike it's actually a challenge to beat, unless you've managed to cheese it. People hate it because it forces them to do things that the game wants you to do. If you manage to knock some health off of Omnigul without killing enemies, then it punishes you by making it harder to hurt Omnigul with more enemies. If you continue to do so, then the game punishes you more with lots of wizards, thralls, acolytes and nights. This is a strike that punishes, and makes players play defensively when they see enemies, instead of running up to them with a shotgun(which some people, including myself, sometimes do).
