The other day, I looted "The Fulcrum", the hand cannon from the Future War Cult. I took it for a spin in PvE, and found out that I really love it. It feels just right and I really enjoy playing with it. I'd love to take it to PvP games, but we all know that PvP is all about Thorns, Last Words and such. There's nothing wrong with that, and of course, people love their Exotics and want to use them. Also, even if you use exotics in PvP, 3 of your armor pieces and 2 of your weapons are Legendary. But let's be honest, the Exotics weight very heavily on your performance and your play style. This got me wondering, though: wouldn't it be nice to have a space where your legendary setup would have all its significance? So I thought: how about a Mp playlist where Exotics are not allowed? It's cool, because it gives players a choice, and players who love their Exotics can keep playing "regular" games. But for players who would like to try something a bit different, they could try this out. The "inferno" playlists have shown that changing little details in the game can have a huge effect on the experience. I think using only Legendaries could be interesteing. All of a sudden, your base armour and its perks would have all its significance. No more "double grenades" or "longer arc blades". Your Intelligence and Discipline levels, your "faster melee attack speed" or "increased grenade throwing distance" would become a lot more meaningful all of a sudden. Your strong weapons would not be called "Thorn", "Truth" or "The Last Word" anymore, but maybe "The Fulcrum", "Vision of Confluence", or "Vanquisher VIII" (love this one!). I think it'd be a nice way to bring something fresh and different. What do you guys think? [i][b]Edit:[/b] please stay on topic. The topic is not which Legendary is the best/your favourite/the one you'll destroy me with. The legendaries I listed are the first ones that came to mind. I didn't put much thought about whether or not they'd be the ones I'd use.
