Are Vanilla and TDB weapons still obtainable?
Word has it you can get Vanilla and Dark Below weapons from engrams obtained on roc and tiger strikes, but is true or just a rumor?

6 RepliesStill wondering about this. I have been farming tiger strikes in hopes of old gear that I can ascend. Am I correct in stating that the only way of getting vanilla legendaries is by getting lucky with vanilla blue Engrams?

Any more insight on this? I also read somewhere that their is a method requiring you to delete your character. Will have to see if I can find it again. And also saw another conversation saying you can uninstall tdb and how, leaving u with just the base game. Wish I had proof that this works, as I would do it.

You can. I've gotten a few pieces of vanilla armor off of engrams.

1 ReplyROC strikes still reward TDB engrams (the ones you get from the completion). Those will decode into older weapons, at least TDB weapons. I don't know if the vanilla engrams are still obtainable.
