Battlefield sniping, in general, requires a lot more skill than in most shooters. There is a learning curve for each weapon because of their attempt to apply real world physics to a video game. Bullet velocity and bullet drop are important factors in BF sniping. You have to learn your weapon over time and develop a real familiarity with it. When you change guns or even scopes, you have to relearn the gun again. In Destiny, there is no bullet drop and the ranges are quite short for snipers. Basically,, no bullet drop, OHK or two body shots. Done.
