I love it just fine. With "Zen Moment" it's easy to melt away opponents with head shots.

Try aiming past mid distance.
-
That's what my Praedyths Revenge is for
-
And the uncovered mid distance that remains?
-
I get out of the way and try to either close or extend the distance.
-
That's a pretty heavy disadvantage.
-
Depends on the map. Shores of Time can cause that problem, in that case I'll switch to red death. All about adjusting on the fly, but I still find the Vex effective in plenty of situations.
-
I agree about adjusting and it's usefulness, and the vex's potential, however I still want to be able to use it for ranges it is intended to be used in.
-
I understand (and do agree to an extent, I do wish it had more range). But fusion rifles are rarely effective outside of close-medium range (except for a sick Plug One.1 I rolled with "Send It"), and the Vex is still a fusion rifle. You've got to play to it's strengths, which is easy head shots at close-medium range. It's like saying Thorn is a bad gun because it can't outgun TLW in close range. If you're using Thorn you have to avoid those close-range encounters, just like if you're using Vex, you have to avoid engaging at a distance.

I understand, and would completely agree, if it weren't for the fact that the reason it doesn't shoot that far accurately is due to an accidental nerf.
