well you have a number of options to get multiple elemental weapons , why prey on specific ones?

  • Personally I'm just a collector and I like to have them all. But there could be perks on one of the ToO weapons that fit a player's personal play style that are unique to that weapon. Maybe you have a person that just absolutely loves hand cannons and wants one of each element type. You could get Arc and Void from the two raid hand cannons, but you want a solar and the Jewel is a far superior weapon to the PoE one. There's many reasons why a person who isn't very good at PvP would want one of the Adept weapons. The counterargument is that someone who is very skilled at PvP but hates to do raids might want a Fatebringer. This is also true, but the Templar is the same difficulty for everyone. You could be an average PvE player and as long as you can follow the mechanics and shoot stuff you can beat a raid with a decent team (barring any bugs of course). As an average PvP player I really have no chance to go flawless, even if I'm playing with two other people who are great, if we get matched up against a team of people who are also very good.

Well you see here, trials was not meant to be easy or else it would just and be an iron banner type of skirmish, all I can say right now that it sucks to suck, just play pvp a lot , learn how to counter tactics observe, ur opponents playstyle, and think outside the box

  • The whole same difficulty is the same for everyone is kind of flawed because some ppl find things more difficult than others. I know the point you were trying make but the one I made makes better sense tbh.

  • Going flawless in Trials in inherently more difficult that a raid. My point is that the level of difficulty in any PvE scenario stays constant for all players, regardless of their skill level. In Trials (and PvP in general) your experience has just as much to do with the skill of your opponent as it does with your own. Which is fine, that's what competitive environments are for, but a super MLG pro player is going to wipe the floor with someone like me, which isn't very fun when I feel like I have no chance to win. Whereas if I played against other of my relative skill, then it would be more on me to win. There's no perfect system (and without dedicated servers you're at the mercy of everyone's internet connection as well) but a tier/ranking system would benefit PvP experiences for people and would have zero effect on PvE.
