Trials isn't punishing pve only players, it's simply rewarding players who are good at pvp with weapons that are good for pve. Rewarding someone else isn't the same thing as punishing you. The only people who are really experience the rewards from trials are those who play both aspects of the game, and I think that's fair. Should the pve only gear (such as the new exotics) be given out to people (easy mode for PoE perhaps) who are too bad at pve to beat Skolas? I don't think so, but by your logic they should. And FYI, I'm not some pro at pvp, I've only been to the lighthouse twice, but if it were easier, it'd be much less rewarding IMO. Just practice and get better if you can't make it without getting better (unless you get carried, but what fun is that?) The only bad part about trials are the cheaters. I'd love to see the ban hammer come down on them.
