Little Jimmy wants to get the new pulse rifle that lord saladhead is selling this week in Iron Banner. He proceeds to purchase the buff and pick up all of the bounties for iron banner in an attempt to reach rank 5 by the end of the week. His first game is terrible. He encounters a full fireteam of 6 thorns who sit in the back of the map and mark of the devourer him to death. Jimmy goes through this for several hours acquiring 5 medallions of iron, but since every game he plays in has 6 thorn users, his team is never able to win. Thus Little Jimmy will never get the iron banner pulse rifle that he desires.
But in all seriousness, who is actually enjoying playing against 6 thorns every single game? Secondly, are these thorn users having any fun? I don't understand how a handcannon that CONSISTANTLY kills in 2 bullets can still be in this game. No other hand cannon in the game can do this. The only the gun that needs a slight nerf is thorn. Nerf it to not be a 2 shot kill by lowering the initial damage output. from 84 or whatever is is down to 57, 57 + 42 = 99 total damage. Meaning it would be the highest damage per shot handcannon consistantly and also not be a two shot kill. This also lets the gun keep its mark of the devourer perk with full effect.
This is a suggestion that I feel will greatly benefit the variety of weapons used in PvP. It will add more deversity to the amount of weapons usable in PvP and will make the game more fun in general.

Only time I pull out my is to deal with other thorns and for some reason I encounter a lot of full auto thorns that never miss? And half the time people are lagging so hard they literally shrug off bullets. Iron banner is crap. Only doing it for the lmg (in desperate need of a good lmg)
