Strictly for gamblers who are running low on weapons parts.
My story on weapon parts.
So before the house of wolves dropped I had well over 1000 weapon parts, with no fear of ever running out. Last night, while rerolling my matador 64, I dropped below 100 weapon parts. This is crazy for me honestly. I've never been so low on weapon parts.
My proposal on the weapon parts shortage.
So we've all seen now what bungie has done to the speaker. (And the gunsmith) They have taken him and made him one of the most valuable, if not the most valuable vendor in destiny. Why can he not have a few other materials added to his inventory? (Weapon parts and class material would be preferred for this topic)
Why this makes sense for destinys economy.
So, if glimmer is buyable, and motes are buyable, why would that limit any other material? I feel that the speaker is limited to what he can sell at this point and time. I think any material that is a common item should be buyable. (Material exchange not exactly buyable)
Thanks for reading. If we bump this, just maybe someone at bungie who happens to be reading forums will see this.
Let's hope for the best!

2 RepliesGunsmith ALREADY sells weapon parts. Go to him. But green and blue weapons. Dismantle said weapons. Boom. Weapon parts.
-
3 RepliesI have 25000 glimmer, 400 marks, tons of materials, strange coins, and motes and nothing to spend it on. Please let me buy weapon parts. It says you can buy them from the gunsmith but this is another lie!
-
Why not let the weapons guy exchange weapon parts for armor materials?
-
How many Weapon Cores do you have? I have a ton and plan and using them to purchase weapons for the sole purpose of breaking them down for weapon parts once I run out.
-
I usually just buy weapons from the gunsmith or random greens from a cryptarch. whichever is cheaper at the time. That and make sure to grab every drop, even the green ones. Still, I wish i could spend 250 on 10 weapon parts rather than 750 on a gun i will immediately break down.

27 RepliesOr you could just play, get junk weapon drops and break them down for more weapon parts like everyone else. How many times do you really need to reroll weapons anyways?
-
I fully agree. I've burnt through 1400 weapon parts reforging. I'm begging for scraps and dismantling nearly every gone I get, and most weapons in my vault just to get try and get my ideal rolls.

Only have 50 left Kappa

Bump to gunsmith selling parts
-
You can get 8 wins on trials and buy the gun and delete it a bunch, that's a lot of weapon parts
