Cause after seeing everything they've done, they are officially my favorite game developers of all time hands down.
Edit: nice amount of feedback. Glad Bethesda isn't the only gaming company that are fir the gamers. I still see hope in the 3 star title future.

4 Replies2k and Gearbox supports the borderlands community quite nicely, but they have made a lot of mistakes on other franchises.

If by caring you mean watering down >_>

4 RepliesRockstar should also be on the list. They did delay the PC of GTA5 to make sure it works right. (Though they did keep giving release dates and THEN delay them like three times I think) They also listened to the feedback when the PC community raged over not allowing mods. So far, they're one of the dev companies you can count on.

Edited by G7kherc: 7/2/2015 8:50:17 AMAs much as a dislike 343i they definitely care for their fans. Insomniac also does as well as the creators of lbp games. Oh and Naughty Dog for sure.

43 RepliesBethesda, Bungie, CD Projeckt Red, Rocksteady, Treyarch, and Bioware are all companies who care about their customers. Sure they may have screwed up every once in a while, but they listen to their customers and use that feedback to make better products.

Digital Extremes cares, and... I think just those two.

Bethesda ID Software 343i Popcap Sumo_Digital The Behemoth. Definitely them.

Gearbox. yes, I know, Aliens: Colonial Marines and Duke Nukem, but they MORE than made up for that by not only making Borderlands 2 wonderful and offering DLC that is actually worth paying for (like Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep), but also by bringing it to the new consoles with the handsome collection, when they could have just chosen not to. every developer makes mistakes; it's what they do AFTER that makes them good or bad.
-
No they only care about money. The difference is that Bethesda puts a high valuation on appealing to hardcore gamers.

1 ReplyRockstar does too

Edited by Kopecs: 7/2/2015 4:09:15 AMCDPR seems to be filling that billet quite well. Square Enix is slowly catching up ever since they fixed FFIX. Edit: IMO of course.

Glad someone else feels the same way :)

2 RepliesBungie still does. It's activision who is the problem. They are pulling the same DLC stuff they do with cod. Small amounts of items for large amounts of cash. Why does everyone get them then, I hear you typing away (I can hear the future)? Because activision pays game reviewers big bucks to say great things about them and sometimes youtubers get them for free. This makes them want to say good stuff about it. Activision is again doing the low content-big Bucks strategy.

2 RepliesCD Projekt Red gave out maps, stickers, actual guides, and more with physical copies of Witcher 3. Something other publishers would charge extra for. They also are giving out 16 pieces of free DLC, again some companies would charge money for that (like Bungie with the bullshit $20 emotes). And they will be releasing two full sized expansions on an already massive game.
