If this ever gets implemented i will most likely no longer play trials. Am i one of the pvp afficionado's that go to mercury every week on 3 characters ? Absolutely not. I went to mercury 5 times or so so far. I failed to go 2 weeks. I did encounter teams that were simply better than us were i had no chance of winning. However, trials is all about putting two teams on an even playing field. Both have the same chance to claim victory. Victory is determined mostly by your skill, not by connection. This for me is a BIG thing about trials. The fact skill is decisive and not connection. In regular crucible the connections are simply awful, honestly ibrarely even play crucible due to the fact you're getting paired with shitty connections where the other players are eating your bullets like candy and proceed to one shot you.
When i lose a match in crucible i'm usualy quite sore about it, simply because i feel i did not deserve to lose and the only reason is lost was connection. In trials when i lose, i'm fine with it, we were on an even playing field and they were better than us.
If i can give you some tips though, gunskill is secondary. You can defeat people with near perfect aim by outwitting them. Use the map to your advantage, learn the strong points of the map. COMMUNICATE, play with some friends and always play together. Be unpredictable to the opponent, if you keep doing the same thing every round you'll get hammered. Think outside of the box, try to find some strategies they dont expect, the sillier the better, having the element of surprise on your side makes a HUGE difference.
What we usually do is to playbthrough a card without buffs just to learn the map and test different strategies
