What does Celestial Nighthawk work best against?
I got it from a nightfall today. Poor bastard I played with got the Sawtooth Oscillator. My heart goes out to him, truly. But anyway.
What can it instakill? What is it really effective against?
I know it can obliterate Ir Yut and hallowed ogres. Are there any majors it can't kill in one shot (i.e. level 35 captains)? Can it one-shot the Psion Flayers?
Help me out here. I'd like to know.
This helmet might actually make me play my hunter for a change.

It cannot 1 shot a shank...the damn thing needs shank burn...

It leaves High Servitors with around no health.

It works best against pretty much any yellow health enemy. Level 35 enemies though more than likely will only be brought down to low health, so its best to damage level 35 enemies a bit before finishing them with nighthawk so you can get orbs to spawn from the kill.

It's really really good against bosses with solar burn. I used it in this weeks level 32 POE and took a big chunk out of the flame princes health in just one shot!

Anything short of a boss gets one shoted, very handy

1 ReplyBosses really or in PvP it can be crucial on popping bubbles for sure to deny a team a capture for bonus points at the end of a very tight game. Really tho I think nighthawk is best for pve bosses. I'd rather have 4 shots than 1 in PvP.

The nighthawk is truly amazing, not only does it have the 6-shot gg, but it also has inverse shadow, ashes to assets and a full intellect stat. Edit: it seems you can one-shot ir yut in crota's end with it.
