If you could, would you let bungie drop PVP if it meant they could then create an unbelievable PVE experience. Like maybe a whole new raid every month and dozens of smaller things like POE?
Explain your reasoning below
EDIT: They wouldn't get rid of PVP but they just wouldn't edit or add onto it any longer
My opinion: I totally would tbh. They work way too much on PVP. In fact, PVP is the reason half of the weapons suck ass. This just isn't a PVP kind of game. PVP is where the majority of problems stem from. Have you ever seen someone lag switch in skolas?? (And even if people do, it's something that isn't hurting anyone)

No. After you get the guns that you want and max level, there isn't really a purpose for PvE. I do PvE for the gear and thare it. I cant tell you the last time that I actually did a strike other than nightfall or weekly heroic other than for a bounty. PvP is what jeeps this game for me.

1 ReplyIf it wasn't for PvP you wouldn't have got you gjallarhorn after going .40 in crucible. You didnt have a problem with crucible back then. When start now?

1 ReplyEdited by karso: 7/5/2015 11:19:08 PMReally surprised by the poll results. Trials of Osiris is my favorite time of the week by far.

PvP is only there for people that finished all the PvE activities for the week, or for other reasons. So, you're done with all the PvE stuff, why waste time in patrol when you can be reking scrubs in Crucible?
If you suck at Crucible, force yourself to play. You'll eventually get better!
6 Repliesof course , if i wanted play pvp id go play counterstrike

12 RepliesI would drop pvp completely. The mode never suited the game or the lore. It was a sham mode tacked onto already lacking content. The crucicrybabies broke every weapon that was decent for pve until the shotgun buff. Well my auto rifles still suck ass.

1 ReplyHell ya

67 RepliesEdited by M0rse: 7/1/2015 8:15:27 PMWHAT DESTINY NEEDS PVE: • More expansive, open world for Patrols. • More varied Public Events for Patrols. • More, more varied Story Missions. • More Raids. • Off-the-beaten-path quests and mysteries to complete during Patrol. • Multiple areas per planet. • MORE PLANETS. • There was a mentioning of some sort of PvE activities for ToO. Make it happen, Bungie. • ACTUALLY USE SHIPS. • Have each race have their own unique backstories, and start in different locations for the first mission. This might result in different first missions, but that's a good thing. • Make Cabal Legions act like military squadrons (Phalanxes in front, supported by Legionaries, covered by Psions, led by Centurions.) PVP: • Faction Wars, Clan Wars, and a mode for new players to learn how to do well in PvP. SOCIAL: • Add Grimoire Library to Tower, perhaps near Speaker? But still also have Grimoire on website. • Shooting Range, Sparrow racetrack, darts, knife throwing, cards, the list goes on. • Have Xûr be a permanent vendor in the Tower, staying in one location, but still have stock refresh every Friday. OVERALL: • Add option to change to 3rd person view during gameplay. • Customize our Ghosts with multiple shells, earned from finding Dead Ghosts. • Fix RNG, so that the loot you get is based on performance.

Raid every month lol

No, pve only gets boring. It's why I get bored of Borderlands fairly quickly. Real people are a lot more challenging than mechanics and huge hp mobs.
-
1 ReplyAn immense PvE would be nice but realistically a Raid (a good one at least) every month would be almost impossible even for a AAA company.
-
Hell no. At the moment my playtime is pretty much 40% PvP 40% patrol 20% everything else. The so called endgame activities in PvE are turning into boring, strategy optimised re runs, whereas every run in PvP is unique. I'm not up for losing PvP
-
Always just did pve. Now im really in to pvp. Only do the nightfalls no raids or anything in weeks

Before yes, but lately ToO is the only thing I look forward to each week.
-
I don't mind the game having PvP but I wish they would keep the nerfs separate. What "might" be OP in PvP doesn't make it OP in PvE. For instance, I'm sure the use of Thorn in PvE and PvP is a lot different but if they nerf it I'm sure it'll effect both.
-
I'm enjoying PvP. However if it's godlike immersively amazingly fantastically PvE then yes!
-
With how the Crucible is "balanced" and set up so that 2 of 3 classes have an advantage? Oh yeah, I would trade PvP for better PvE
-
Why not both?

1 ReplyThe pvp is really what got me to buy destiny. I played the beta & had alot more fun doing pvp. Still have more fun playing pvp. Pve is ok, reguardless of the pve experience, i'd still play pvp more.

1 ReplyIm bought this game for pve plain and simple. If I want to play a broken and unbalanced multi player shooter I would go back to playing battlefield. In my opinion this game suffers because of pvp. The game would be more epic if all the pvp assets were put into pve.

If they did that, so many weapons would become irrelevant.
