I'm british, I really don't care about emotes or shaders or ships and I personally think you have to be a little crazy to pay real money for that shite.
My problem with TtK prices are
Americans pay $40
Brits pay $62 ish
For the exact same thing which is not on!
I see a lot of people complaining about people complaining that they want free shit.
I do not want free shit, I just don't want to have to pay $22 more than the Americans.
I haven't looked at prices for other countries so don't know who else is being ripped off but feel free to have your say.
!!!! This is not about war or taxes it's greed and as a gaming community we should stick together and help each other out if we can not argue about which country has the biggest D.I.C.K because we all know that's the UK (Mr Cameron) !!!!

I agree. Playing ignorant over "funny foreign currency" does not work in this day and age. I could download a currency converter on my phone right now. How can a multi-million (billion?) corp not figure this out? They know what they are doing, and it's -blam!-ing shitty. I feel bad for you guys.
-
Don't worry, in a couple of years it will only be 40 Dinars, or whatever arab currency England will end up using after it's razed by the Muslim Horde.
-
Yeah, we pay $62 for the same thing?
-
Can we go to North Korea and buy it for a couple American cents then? If it is still just 40 no matter the currency.

All I saw was the title, and immediately thought, "No, you do not deserve free Nifty Biscuits!"

Enjoy some tea and crumpets. All is well

Edited by Rising Sol: 6/30/2015 8:02:58 PMI was with you till your final line. we're not all like that and some of you are obviously like that. Once you start prejudging a nations by what people want you to think then your a lost cause. There's good people and bad people and people of all kinds everywhere. I do wonder is the racial tension so high over there. Cus it's hot as hell over here.

Stop converting geez. You live in UK deal with it as you deal with for instance McDonalds. You pay this amount and we pay this as well. I'm familiar with UK but I live in California.

Contribute more to the world than crumpets and worcestershire sauce and maybe we'll all cater to you guys.

Do you own any apple products??? For example. IPad mini 3 16gb = £319 ($500) UK price. Ipad mini 3 16gb = $399 (£251) us price. Are you also in apple forums moaning there?? Now. Lets make this a bit more grown up.... Average salary in USA = about $26k (£17k) Average salary in UK = about £26k ($42k) As you can see the difference in average salary is huge. UK earns almost twice as much. This is one of the factors of higher prices for the same thing in different countries!! You are quite free to move to America to benefit from the lower prices there. Or you can stay in the UK. Earn a lot more money. Have better working conditions. (Holidays. Health care. Sick pay. Rights. Etc) or pay a little more for a game that you have been playing for a year!! So please for the love of God. Would people form the uk stop sounding like entitled Americans. If you don't like the price. Don't buy it!! Very very very simple!!

Edited by skunkiebaby: 6/30/2015 6:57:43 PMThe trouble is bungie set the bar at £20 for a dlc with tdb and poe, now they want £40 for tkk that in itself don't seem right but they take the piss further by asking more money for extras, another £20, that's why people perceive this as greed, the pr comment didn't help ! All said and done it's a dlc not a brand new game, so £60 with all the bells and whistles the average price of a new game, so personally what do I do battlefront or tkk, Mmmm "decisions decesions" I wonder how many other people are thinking the same way ?

$70 in Australia!!! I Feel your pain brother!
-
Seriously though, not knowing the exact reasons why but on average everything in the UK is higher than American prices, UK average cost of living and cost of consumer goods are around 15% higher than america
-
Look. There's a way to standardized this issue, but it will never happen. The proof that this could be standardized is OIL meaning the price per barrel IS AND WILL BE SET BY THE AMERICAN DOLLAR NO MATTER WHAT COUNTRY YOUR IN. Gaming is not a necessity either sooooo.....

Edited by Hedges360: 6/30/2015 7:12:37 PMEverything is cheaper in the U.S.! Houses, clothes, electronics, everything. Average salary in U.S. Is $26000. Average salary in UK is £26000 When you look at it in terms of value within each country's economy, the price is the same in both countries. If you simply did the exchange rate calculation from $ to £ the UK price would be too cheap. It's actually fairer the way it is.

I spend more money in KFC on a Saturday night! Why is the DLC even an issue. Stop your moaning and pick up your crayons from the floor!
