I'm british, I really don't care about emotes or shaders or ships and I personally think you have to be a little crazy to pay real money for that shite.
My problem with TtK prices are
Americans pay $40
Brits pay $62 ish
For the exact same thing which is not on!
I see a lot of people complaining about people complaining that they want free shit.
I do not want free shit, I just don't want to have to pay $22 more than the Americans.
I haven't looked at prices for other countries so don't know who else is being ripped off but feel free to have your say.
!!!! This is not about war or taxes it's greed and as a gaming community we should stick together and help each other out if we can not argue about which country has the biggest D.I.C.K because we all know that's the UK (Mr Cameron) !!!!

For any one spouting out ww2 bullshit, you know who won? The f.u.c.k.i.n.g ALLIED FORCES it was a team effort! Our fathers and grandfathers and even great grandfathers it was their glory not yours you spoilt bunch of ignorant bastards.

How's your tea and crumpets m8?
-
You started WW lll, in case you were concerned.

Hey Moose, that sucks that the DLC is more expensive than the USA. The only reason I can think it is the taxes of your country, the exchange rate of currency ( US dollars to pounds or euros), or just plain greed. Being not an expert on the economy of the UK, these are the best answers I can come up with. I was in London 20yrs ago and the euro was unheard of to me, so yeah, a bit outdated infoformation.

"Drop the Tea Tax and maybe we will drop the price!" --- Bungie

U.S.A owns the internet *Drops mic*

The Legendary edition is £46 at Amazon right now.
-
We Americans are still collecting back on taxation without representation.
-
Damn fog-breathers.

You are barking at the wrong tree. Go learn money exchange and business 101.

It's because we're still bitter about the tea tax.
-
Its a fact you guys are getting the shaft. Havent heard a reasonable post saying otherwise. Sorry, wish we could help...
-
what did you guys pay for the OG 60 dollar destiny? just curious.
-
Well need some way to payoff WWII
-
You pay the 400 lbs for a tv when we pay $400. It's the same difference. That's why everyone from UK does Xmas shopping in the states.
-
I agree that is kinda shitty. If it makes you feel any better I'll be buying the $80 version.
-
Its not about taxs at all. At the moment, companies offering digital downloads are able to avoid paying taxes in the UK by routing them through another country where taxes are lower. This is not a new technique, and there is nothing illegal about it. Bugie do it threw the Netherlands. If you look on the back of the original eu base game its where it was produced. So there is no other logic than greed behind it.
-
Poor Greeks gonna be paying with Drachma pretty soon.
-
It's expensive to do international business. Taxes and exchange rates suck. Banking fees suck. International risk exposure suck. Company can choose to not do business or pass cost along. Bungie choose to pass cost along, deal with it. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Your choice, not theirs.
-
Have a friend from America send you the code.
-
I noticed that you didn't write that up in Russian or German... that extra $22 is the cost of your Freedom... You're welcome! 'MERICA!!!
Actually, I'm not sure why that is... is there and export/import tax to Bungie or something?
-
I'm American and I also agree with you. It doesn't LOOK and FEEL right and its also not fair. I mean, Conversion rates should give you guys a cheaper price.
-
Is the higher price due to our government charging ing us more to subsidise the fact that STARBUCKS make millions of £'s of profits in our country but don't pay tax! Shit coffee too.
-
To top it off its £40 for the taken king alone and Amazon is selling the collection for new players for only £46. So £6 for destiny, dark below and house of wolves. Wtf. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00ZF6ZUK4/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_rSZKvbM6NDCAH

Wages, tax, Vat, shipping, cost of living in the UK, why is this all applied on for a DLC but not for the base game? Base game: £40 in the UK & $60 dollars in the US (preorder prices last September) DLC: £40 in the UK & $40 dollars in the US If all this mattered like all of you are commenting below, why aren't we paying £60 for the base game to match Bungies £:$ exchange rate. Amazon prime are charging £46 for The taken king standalone DLC. Which equates to 73 US dollars, you guys think the content on this DLC will justify 73 US dollars?
