And you only run into Blue or Red ones with varying helmets. The only silver ones you find are either dead or in a cutscene. All of the Stealth Elites are gone, along with the gold ones. I mean, I know Brutes are the guys you should really be focusing on, but it can't cost you much to throw in some Elites with different colored armor. And maybe put some down fighting alongside marines more often. I can't tell you how much I was looking forward to fighting with the guys that caused me so much agony and frustration during my journey through the legendary Halo 2 campaign.. I was pretty dissapointed to barely see them.[/quote] wow, didn´t you get it wrong? we were, initially, left for dead in Halo:CE, and it just built up from there. THAT is what made it so awesome. other than that, I pretty much agree with almost everything you said, except when you said coming back to Earth was the greatest thing they did to the plot. Well, admitedly, it WAS a great idea, but it just didn´t work out. it just seems... rushed.

Great update! I'm still confused about the mythic maps. I pre-ordered Halo Wars Limited and that comes with three of the mythic maps. Will I have to pay the full price to get the full mythic pack when it comes out, or will I have an option for a special pack that includes the maps that I don't have? Some clarification would help me out alot.

I myself have grown up with Master Chief, as alot of you have.WE ALL OF US LOVE HALO!! Ive pulled countless epic all-nighters with halo 1,2,and 3. Some parts of the story are epic, and awsome! Not to mention the amazing kick ass music throughout the trilogy! but i myself think that ive set the bar to high for halo, just because i want it to be great doesnt mean it will be. I had very very high hopes for Halo 3, as we all did. and at first i thought that it met my expectations, but after playing the campaign for a while i realized that they made the actual campaign experience way to casual. It just wasnt anywhere near as epic as it should have been. especialy since this was the end of the trilogy. It was just a boring way to finish the fight to me.

I have a very strong love-hate relationship with all that is Halo. I want so bad for halo to be the best it can be!!! All you other fanboys know what i am talking about.

'Would be awesome. :)[/quote] Music not by Marty. Its by some old dude. And I doubt it. Whatever happened in that trailer was non-canon however, I would love something of that scale in ODST. And to everyone, Elites are not enemies in ODST but they probably are still Friendly AI, just like in Halo 3. Brutes have been sent into the city, Elites don't want to but have no choice but to work with the Humans. I still feel the explanation provided by the good folks stand. If the Halo Bible says its so, its as such. Like Sketch once said, "Shut up Halo Nation" Although, I am sure the main reason why its not in is because of the lack of the needed AI. I am upset. No Elite Enemies is very upsetting. But, I am one of those who appreciated what was done to the Brutes in Halo 3 and with [url=http://www.gamepro.com/article/previews/208610/halo-3-odst-interview-with-bungies-joseph-staten/]the changes made to the Brute AI Behavior[/url], I am sure Bungie will do their best to make fighting the Brutes as similar as they can to fighting the Elites. Similar but yet...different. I loved Halo 3's story. It may not have had the simplicity of Halo CE's or the Complexity of Halo 2's but it was the most fluid; most cinematic. I can't wait to see how the story in ODST plays out, with or without Elites.

i like that idea and i have another one. since Bungie claims the Chief is done can we get a game either taking place be4 Halo 2 playing as the Arbiter? or after Halo 3? he's a great character! and please someone send me a message i want to show you guys a pic i drew in illustrator. huge fan love Halo and always will. can someone send me a message helping me out on how to contact Bungie, please and thanks!

I think it would be a good thing if the studio did ViDocs for all its Halo titles. I remember when we first saw the E3 demo for Halo 3, and then they released a documentary of how much had changed to the style of the world since then. Y'know what they say, "a picture's worth a thousand words".
