Fastest way to upgrade a new character
Decided to cave in, in terms of creating a new character. I've only have had a warlock since the game came out. I started a titan and a hunter, so what's the best way to level them up regarding getting legendary gear.
Edit: I appreciate all the feedback ice been getting, I really am. Anyone looking for a good pvp player add Rave_60z ( me;))

Do all missions on the highest difficulty, all bounties they give you, then patrols/crucible till 20

1 Reply1) Find a really good Rumble player. Preferably, this should be a person who can win faster than average. 2) Join a fireteam with them. 3) Enter Rumble. Since you get 4800 xp from each game completed, plus 60 for every kill/assist, that comes out to over 5000 xp every game. This is where the really good Rumble player comes in. They'll end the game faster, giving you more games/hour.

Crucible. You get 4000xp per game plus 60xp per kill/assist as oppose to the 2000xp for story missions and 20xp for kill in PvE. I went back and forth with PvP and PvE (mostly did Crucible though) and just did as many bounties as I could. A nice bonus is if you get to lv20 without finishing the story, you can go back and do the missions on lv30 for 7500xp per mission. I had all legendaries and exotics for the Hunter I made two weeks ago so this helped level my gear.

5 RepliesStory missions and bounty til you're 20. Then use your warlock to get armor cores for the other characters. It bumps them up fast.

3 RepliesWhenever you rank up vanguard, factions, queens wrath, with any of your characters, make sure you collect the packages with the character you want to level up.

1 ReplyI would say missions to level 20 then get a carry in Trials or PvE for legendary gear.

Tough call, but vanguard or faction armor are your best bets. Complete bounties and gather marks from vanguard dragon. I have had a LOT of legendary armor drops from vanguard dragon. Then do POE or any of the other high level activities to get to 34.
