A friend of mine recently got a code from Gamestop, and was kind enough to give it to me. Whenever I try submitting the code, the message, "The token code is not in valid format" appears. I tried submitting it without the hyphens (XXXXXXXXX), yet it still didn't work. I'm pretty sure my browser's not the problem.. I tried it on 3 different browsers, yet it's still not working (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox). What could be the problem..?

The "invalid format" error means the code you are trying to enter is either the wrong length for a bnet code or is using invalid characters. It sounds like you may be trying to enter a PSN Store code into the bungie.net code system. Unless the code you received has instructions to go to bungie.net, you should go to the PSN store and select "Redeem Code" and enter it there.

Yeah sadly Chuck-E-Cheese tokens aren't valid. I tried the same thing.

7 RepliesWhat type of code is it? Actually what is the code for? Because trying to enter a Bungie code on your Xbox live account won't work and the opposite is also true.
