Thorn makes scout rifles useless
Why use a scout rifle for long range when thorn out guns them? So stupid.

1 Replythis seems a little invalid. I tear through Thorn users with my Midas. I myself, am a below average pvper. Only fairly recently have I even been participating in Crucible and Iron Banner. But I can honestly say, scout rifles are a great counter to thorn.

Use NAD31 salvation state with the circle inside a circle for the scope. I outgun thorn users at sniping range at Pantheon

2 RepliesJust use shotgun, you can out gun thorn almost with any gun. The trick is: shoot first/ get head shots.

29 RepliesNo scouts were already useless. They've never been comparable to any of the other weapon types and never will be at this rate. No reason they shouldn't 3 shot headshot or 4 body shot. They don't have enough DPS to be relevant. And for all the people about to come at me with "but MIDA is so good," no. It's not. You move semi fast and still can't kill shit.

1 ReplyBecause they are more fun to use. Have a ghelions demise with firefly luck in the chamber and explosive rounds that was doing very nicely against the thorn snipers on pantheon yesterday. It was nice. Would just shoot towards their face so the explosive rounds would obstruct the view and usually luck in the chamber would activate killing them. Seemed like maybe the explosive round had extra damage too as it would kill the surrounding people too. But can't confirm that.

They're still pretty good if used at a range but that can be hard on the current maps, hopefully bigger maps are coming in ttk

1 ReplyI use my Mida all the time to kill filthy Thorn bastards. Has that hidden perk to stagger enemies with head shots so they always have a hard time shooting you. Plus the speed boost for this weapon is simply amazing to outmaneuver them

I've started using thorn even though I like tlw better, apparently it's more op Whaaat! Everyone else uses it! Call me a scrub call the rest of the iron rose a scrub... I just don't care anymore
