Best setup for thorn bounty?
I recently got the thorn bounty and as much as I hate the gun I think it's worth trying to get. I'm currently at the crucible part. What's the best weapons? I'm currently rocking a jewel, metador and corrective measure. Any suggestions?
Edit: Thanks for all the help. Finally beat it. Looking to level this up asap. I've become one of them...

I remember I got my first thorn before AR/everything nerd and used a blue fusion rifle with the quickest charge rate and with the perk unflinching. Did this in skirmish and got it done so quick it was op.

Wow, you guys were lucky. I had to suffer through that thing with no void primary, a half-decent blue shotgun and no void heavy.

If you have a void primary, it helps alot. I not, you could go the cheesy way of camping with secondary's. I used word of crota, predeths revange and correctice meassure the last time i did the bounty tho.

1 ReplyI used a regular gun(No void primaries), a void shotgun and truth. And I was a void walker warlock. I know it will feel wrong but honestly just run around with a shotgun. I was getting around 100 points per game and had it done in 5 games.

I had to use an uncommon shotgun until I realised I had the Crash shotgun with amazing perks just sitting in my vault. So then I just started using the Crash and my prudence sniper.

I used Atheons epilogue back when auto rifles were good. Void fusion rifle and a void rocket launcher.

Word of crota is actually not bad. And it feels similar to thorn so gets you ready for it. I'd say have the truth as well

Atheon epilogue, her courtesy and a dead orbit launcher with tracking. All void of course. Completed overall in about 4 to 5 hrs.
