Kotaku Luke Smith Interview. They want Thorn OP?
So while reading the Kotaku interview yesterday, Luke Smith said something to the effect of: "This is the Age of Thorn, before that was the Age of Suros Regime." To me, that sounds like they WANT Thorn to be OP, but will one day usher in the Age of some other weapon.
So Bungie wants an unbalanced PVP?

I read a while ago after the thorn buff that they did it because that the way thorn was meant to be. Thats why I'm not surprised it has never been nerded.

3 RepliesI was a little pissed what he said about instead of balancing all the weapons, he wants each weapon type to have a Golden Age. Well Auto Rifles, Fusion Rifles, Hand Cannons, Shotguns, Rocket Launchers, Machine Guns, and Sniper Rifles have had theirs or are in it now. Scout Rifles and Pulse Rifles haven't yet. Might as well go ahead and buff them instead of nerfing all the other ones.

Their mentality towards guns is why my vault is full. The difficulty of obtaining some guns combined with the fact that they may soon go from bottom of the barrel to long of the hill is why we can't delete weapons.

LoL has its meta, Elswordhas its meta, and even Yu-Gi-Oh! does. __________________________________________ Luke Smith also said in the interview that he debunked FoAF and 347 rumors, that he wants to be able to balance the weapons while keeping them an option, he wants to keep the exotics weapons fun to use.
