is there any way to get weapons i miss my comedian shotgun would never have deleted it if i knew we could ascend gear

Reading further comments, looks like it doesn't which is weird and stupid, but oh well.

Should work the same way as the armor. Stuff dropped will be HoW, rewards screen should be the appropriate timed thing, but I could be wrong.

I think the weapons have been updated even in the low tier strikes (at least the engrams). Had a legendary engram drop in the middle of an eagle strike yesterday, but turned into the new Vanguard sniper :-( Don't know about legendary engrams from the end screen, though.
