I can confirm this works, I recieved a 300 attack doctor nope and a hunter hld_starwinder cloak from tiger strike engrams

Yes! That was one of my first lengendaries, as well as one of my favorites, the other being The Devil You Know.
-
Tiger strikes don't reward weapon engrams, only armour. It's possible that you did a roc strike and luckily got it from a blue decription, but not tiger.
-
Yeah.. We determined that, try to read the whole thing. It was giving weapon engrams until how came out
-
but.. But... Tiger strikes don't drop weapon engrams.. So how'd you get a doctor nope?
-
they don't drop cryptarch engrams, but you can still receive them in the end screen rewards. You aren't going to do a whole strike and get no rewards silly, regardless of level of difficulty. How would you go from 22-26 if you were doing strikes without gear being rewarded upon completion. With the packages removed your chances of getting engrams are diminished by a large margin so if you really want vanilla gear, you're gonna have to grind like no other
-
Sorry, sounds reasonable The only reason I asked is because everyone on this thread has been saying that it's impossible
-
Actually it's very possible they don't with the how release. I got it less than a month ago, about a week before the dlc dropped. All I've been able to get lately are how weapons
-
Any idea how many tiger strikes you did? And did they drop as items, or did you get them from engrams?
-
The cloak was a blue engram that turned legendary, it was right before HoW dropped. I'm not sure how many I did before the legendary engram but it was under 10, I was helping a friend level and he wasn't high enough for roc strikes. But only the ones recieved at the end of the strike will be old items
-
Thanks! I did a few tiger strikes but only got an engram or two. I'll keep at it then.
-
It's worth it if you can pull a swarm or tdyk. The armor is great as well
-
It is worth it. I dismantled all of my old legendaries thinking they wouldn't be useful.
