What is the best way to get a gally?
Ive been playing for months and have never gotten a gally. Xur should sell it but for about 50 strange coins.
What are some tips and tricks to getting one?

1 ReplyBeen playing since the closed beta which is longer then pretty much anyone here...And i still havent gotten one so stop complaining youll get it when the game gives it... Theres no special tricks.

My stepson has about 50 hours in the game and he's gotten two: one from an engram and one from PoE. There's no rhyme or reason.

If you wear glowhoo when you push atheon off the edge while all simultaneously doing the exo dance, you have a guaranteed chance to throw money at your screen.

Play end game content. I got my first from a nightfall, then I got a second from the gorgon chest after my friend called it and a third one from my first every lvl28 PoE completion. I have also got quite a few exotics from crucible (patience and time, TLW, 2 hard lights, NLB, ice breaker).

I got ome from Nightfall after 5 months of playing. It's just luck man. Keep plugging the PoE and hard mode riads and the nightfalls.

Mate... since the game came out I have been doing the nightfall, the raids, the poe's, decrypted a blam load of lendgendarys and a bit of crucible. I have 3 characters which of I have deleted a few times and started fresh. So lets calculate - nightfall 3 times a week without fail, VOG 6 times that's 3 x on normal and 3 x on hard, crota x 3, poe x 3 maybe more depending if I have a key. Also if I have restarted a character I would do the same over in that same week. sometimes I would do the daily, weekly and strikes to get those engrams hoping 1 will convert into a g horn. But since the game has been out I have not gotten the the blaming mother blaming g horn.

My first one was from atheon on hard mode. My second one was the chest on 28 POE. My third one was from death singer on normal. So I would say play all 3 characters and do all the raids and the nightfall every week because it truly is random.

To not hope for one, or at least don't expect it. I've been itching to get my hands on one since last year. And I got one about a month or two ago from a. Nightfall when I didn't expect it because I lost hope lol.

Kill stuff. Lots of stuff.

Do both raids every week on all characters, do nightfall, weekly heroic strike, and the daily mission (I get at least one legendary engram from those every few days). Do POE and open the chest as much as you can. Try and get to the lighthouse in ToO. The level 8 package and the chest on Mercury have fairly good chances of dropping exotics.

I have gotten one in all my play time which is about 600 hours I think. My friend gets one every other week since he began playing it was his first exotic.

I got my first gally when I overheard his disciple murmur a very rare dialog piece, one that can only be heard when you stand behind him and whisper "I would have been your daddy" in his ear. He goes on to say "those who seek Osiris will reap the grandeur." This intrigued me. "How could I seek him?" I thought to myself. I looked about his kiosk for clues.. Then it hit me... "The pots and pans he has hanging, THEY'RE THE MEDIUM!" I followed suit and stung together all the pans and pots in my home and hung them in the breeze. Osiris spoke to me. "I know what you have been seeking" and I got it. He handed me a gally. Satisfied TL;DR Whisper "I would have been your daddy" Hang strung-together pots and pans in the breeze. Profit.
