can anyone answer this about backwards compatability on one and 360
although you will be able to use a lot of games once the library has been completed, will it allow 360 and one players to finally play the same matches and stories together?

15 RepliesI already have access to backwards compatibility due to being a Preview member and I can confirm with no. While on 360, you can only play with 360 players or Xbox One players who also have backwards compatibility. You can still be in an Xbox One party while playing 360 games, but games will not be cross platform.

1 ReplyNo basically what their doing is shoving a 360 into your one. That's all. Separate games on the platforms will not be able to play together

No. You'll only get matched with other 360 players. I think world of tanks is the first game to be cross platform multiplayer and it's not out till mid July.

1 ReplyIf destiny on 360 is added to the list of supported backwards compatible games, then you will be able to boot up destiny for 360 on your xbox one and play with your friends on 360. That's a big IF though as I think any remastered or cross gen games will not be supported

3 RepliesI think so, as long as it's a backward compatible game. It brings you to an emulated 360 "dashboard." So I would imagine it being possible
