Radiant skin is worthless
If radiant skin actually did something, there would be a lot less self rezing warlocks.
You should be able to survive 1 golden gun shot, or 1 blade dancer strike, with a tiny smidge of health left, with radiant skin...
Edit:shameless plug of my video of radiance. I'm a fan but the post is only saying I wish radiant skin offered more defense
Edit2: I apologize to everyone, I'm liar. In my own vid I survive a GG shot with flame shield on + radiant skin

I see what you mean, but I do like the resistance you get from small arms fire.

When I use Radiant Skin I clear rooms! Seriously you become a freaking tank! Ever shoot at a Radiant Skin Warlock? I immediately drop my sights and go hide.

If you get in instant kill with your melee and get the flame shield it takes forever for someone to kill you

You can survive a gg shot with radiant skin + max armor, no ram needed. Still prefer voidwalker to sunsinger tho..

1 ReplyI use radiant skin wayyyy more than self res, you can take way more damage and get killed fairly quickly without the defense in the crucible. Plus those fire bolt grenades though >

Radiant Skin is a bit worthless. I think it needs to offer a bit more defense than it does. In it's current state, it really doesn't do much.

Put Ram on and pop radiant skin See how much damage you can take. I haven't tested it myself.

6 RepliesNo it's not, I throw down with blade dancers and I have survived golden shots multiple times. Self Rez is useless in regular crucible,youu usually just get put down or you get one revenge kill and it runs out before you did another person or you die again. I also kill self Rez locks with radiant skin on easily,they don't stand a chance.
