As far as the "Get educated" bit goes, I meant no insult to your education, I'm sure you are well-informed, I'm just going on what I could read, which was someone angry at Bungie, for a separate project. I can agree that I assumed too much on that part, but again, just going on what I had, so with that thank you for clearing the air. On another note, it [i]does[/i] seem odd to pack another developer's game with content for your own, especially when Halo Wars already looks to be a great RTS game. It seems unnecessary to push people to buy it and help Ensemble. I don't quite think the maps are being packed with the game to help sales. I can't say for 100%, but I'd bet a well-acclaimed developer, such as Ensemble, who created the popular Age of Empires, should have no trouble selling this game. It doesn't look like the game to end all games, but it certainly looks like one of the top RTS games that will have come out on 360, perhaps its controls will help shape the way for future RTS games on platforms. Perhaps, if people had to choose between what to spend their hard-earned money on; maps for a game you already enjoy, versus a game you've never played before, many people might play it safe and stick with something that will be cheaper and perhaps provide more hours of fun. I can't say for certain, but re-reading your post, I can see why you would be angered or outraged at the decision. Rather than make people choose, that choice is being taken from the public. Maybe Bungie will release the maps by themselves soon after. We still have some time between now and then, so we'll just have to see what they say... [Edited on 01.18.2009 10:52 PM PST]

Amen sigmapi103. Why is Bungie going to suck on our wallets for a game a lot of people will rent because it's RTS and not a Shooter? They're right if they think that almost everyone is stupid enough to buy Halo Wars just for Mythic. And to put a release date on Mythic because it's tagged with Halo Wars and not have a standalone date is crazy! If the maps are ready, put them on the freaking marketplace!. This way people can get the goods. And if we rent Halo Wars and we like it, we'll buy it anyways! [Edited on 01.18.2009 9:21 PM PST]

Way to go Bungie, You've topped yourselves beyond all belief. From $10 for 3 maps to now "Buy a whole new game for $60" for 3 maps. And Don't even attempt to blame this on Microsoft. "MS controls the price of the DLC". So Microsoft also controls the VEHICLE of how your products are distributed as well? I don't think so. It doesn't matter if MS owns all rights to Halo. If it is truly the case that you have no control, then you should STOP releasing any map packs. You're simply becoming a marketing tool. For Halo 3 ODST maps prepare to cut off your pinkey finger and UPS it to Bungie Studios to show your "Halo Love". And seriously, who is going to believe that the maps will ever be available of Xbox Live for Download for a lower price. Legendary still isn't free. Plus, it would be stupid when you can gouge out money for a game (Halo Wars) that I don't want because it's NOT HALO. [Edited on 01.18.2009 8:49 PM PST]

By that I assume that you must not try your luck with things the magnitude of a Fuel Rod blast... That silenced SMG seems to be a badass weapon. I hope that in Halo 3:ODST you get to use: A silenced M6D pistol (admit it, a lot of people would love to see that) A silenced AR A silenced BR A silenced Sniper Rifle
