It's multiplayer, you have to be online and it has rpg elements such as different gear and stats, color of your armor, etc so it is still morpg

lots of games are online. online does not equal mmo there are no rpg elements. there are no tanks, healers, or roles to be played at all. you all shoot a gun, super a target, throw a grenade, or melee.

I don't know why you would call it an mo like that matters then that's a bit confusing. This game was called a shared world shooter by bungie. None of the stats gear and color actually make it an rpg. Rpg elements don't make it an actual rpg. A human may have tiger characteristics it doesn't actually make you a tiger. This game is a FPS with online capabilities sprinkling in rpg elements.

It's not a mmo since you only have up to 16 people in a map, but it still does has rpg elements. People always think of rpg with Wow but there are different types of rpg. You set you gear and stats to your playstyle along with skills and perks
